- May 19: Middle School Field Trip 0800-5:00
- May 20: Grades 4/5 Field Trip 8:00-2:00
- May 22-25: No school in observance of Memorial Day
- June 02: 8th Grade Dinner @ 1600
- June 05: Field Day – Wear HAUS COLORS (sun protection, water bottles, and sports clothing recommended)
Spring Re-Registration – Calling All Parents! (Even if your family is leaving!) Please indicate whether each student will be staying at GEMS or leaving for the 2026–2027 school year by completing Spring Re-Registration. Parents should log in to the DoDEA Student Information System (DSIS) Family Portal to submit a re-registration request for EACH student:

Student absences: Please notify the Main Office (gemsoffice@dodea.edu) as soon as possible, but no later than 09:00 if your child will be absent. If a student is marked absent, and we have not heard from you, GEMS will send a parent notification/inquiry. For preplanned/extended absences, please reach out to the Main Office to obtain a preplanned absence form.
